At-Tin


وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ ﴿1﴾

By the fig and the olive ˹of Jerusalem˺,


وَطُورِ سِينِينَ ﴿2﴾

and Mount Sinai,


وَهَٰذَا الْبَلَدِ الْأَمِينِ ﴿3﴾

and this secure city ˹of Mecca˺!1


لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ ﴿4﴾

Indeed, We created humans in the best form.


ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِينَ ﴿5﴾

But We will reduce them to the lowest of the low ˹in Hell˺,


إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ ﴿6﴾

except those who believe and do good—they will have a never-ending reward.


فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّينِ ﴿7﴾

Now, what makes you deny the ˹final˺ Judgment?


أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ ﴿8﴾

Is Allah not the most just of all judges?
